My Why,


Hey So I'm Artemis or Chris, but I prefer Artemis now. I'm just your average millennials who didn't take advantage of learning to cook from my parents growing up. Now, I'm an adult and trying to be as self-sufficient and self-reliance.

I've been into fitness since high school, from sports to weightlifting. I was never really a fan of cardio, so I avoided that stuff. And I never took my diet serious. Eating whatever I wanted, when I wanted and my biggest mistake was over eating.

Once I hit 30, and I had some decent benefits at work and decided to hire a dietitian. I initially went in thinking they would help me build a meal plan of super quick and foolproof meals or something like that. But I got so much more out of it.


It's been almost a year of some trial and lot of error, like a lot 🧯😅. So I got myself a Ninja Foodi 12-in-1 Deluxe XL Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer and a Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Electric Grill (AG301)

My next big buy is going to be the Ninja Foodi SS351 Power Blender & Processor System. I really want to try making my own smoothies, and properly purée food.

I'll be exploring a lot of Low Carb Meals, Snacks and Bread on this blog. I'll be mostly using the multi-cooker and occasionally grilling. Not only that, but I may also try doing videos of the process, but I'm not good at video editing or have a proper camera other than my phone so well see how that goes.
